Personal Interviews

Interviews are offered in-person on the campus of Providence College or through a virtual platform.

Personal interviews are held for those who will be applying in the upcoming admission cycle (Fall 2027 admission) with a member of the admission staff, our graduate assistant, or a senior admission fellow. Interviews are offered in-person on the campus of Providence College or through a virtual platform. Regardless of whether the interview is in-person or virtual, the experience is similar and there is no preference between one or the other. Students may expect the interview to last 20-30-minutes.

Important items to consider:

• Interviews are not required for admission, and participating in one does not, on its own, provide a decisive advantage in Providence College’s holistic admission process. They are a great opportunity to speak one-on-one and mutually determine whether Providence College may be a good fit for you. Students often use our interviews to elaborate on their personal experiences beyond what they share on the Common Application, as well as ask detailed questions about the College or the admission process.
• If a student does choose to have an interview, it will be evaluative and used as one part of the application review.
• An interview is not appropriate as a first introduction to Providence College and students are highly discouraged from participating in an interview prior to extensive research or a campus visit.
• Early Decision I applicants who choose to interview: interviews must be conducted by November 7, 2026. 

Duplicate registrations will be cancelled.

In-Person Interviews: 

Offered on the campus of Providence College. In-person interviews are not able to be changed to virtual.
